The Street Fighter film from Legendary is shaping up nicely. The new live-action film has added some serious star power to its cast. According to Deadline, Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns, and Noah Centineo are in talks to star in the film. The plot and other details are under wraps, but you can guess that it’s likely about a tournament held to find the greatest fighters out there. Kitao Sakurai is on board to direct the film, who took over from Talk To Me‘s Danny and Michael Philippou. The film is co-developed and co-produced alongside Capcom, who makes the Street Fighter games. There’s no word on a writer for the project yet.
Andrew Koji is in talks to star as Ryu and Noah Centineo is on board to star as Ken. Those two characters are the backbone of every game in the series since the original in 1987. According to outside sources, Reigns is in talks to play Akuma and Momoa is set to play Blanka. There’s no word on if anyone has been cast as M. Bison yet. The games have sold over 55 million units worldwide and spawned several spinoff games like Marvel Vs. Capcom.
There’s also no word on a release date currently.

He’s set to star as Lobo in the upcoming DC Universe from James Gunn and Peter Safran.
Noah Centineo is also no stranger to action, he starred in Black Adam from DC, and recently in Warfare from Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland. Finally, Leati Joseph Ano’i (otherknown as Roman Reigns) is one of the biggest WWE superstars of all-time. He’s also starred in movies like Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and The Wrong Missy.
