Clash of Clans is coming to Netflix! The streamer announced an animated series today with some early details. One Barbarian has to defend his village against invaders with the help of a band of misfits. Clash of Clans is currently in pre-production.
Entergalactic’s Fletcher Moules serves as showrunner for Clash of Clans. Ron Weiner will be helping with writing the series. Vancouver’s ICON Creative Studio is on-tap for animating the Clash of Clans series. Supercell’s very happy to see it’s biggest game becoming an animated series on Netflix.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Netflix and this creative team to bring the world of CLASH to life,” Supercell head of film and TV Curtis Lelash said. “Think epic battles, immaculate Barbarian mustaches, and the kind of humor our players know and love.. They’ve been asking for a CLASH series forever, and we’re beyond excited to finally say: it’s happening!”
Clash of Clans Teams Up With Netflix

Netflix is no stranger to animation. Arcane, Blue Eye Samurai and Devil May Cry have all been recent hits. (While this show is probably quite a bit less intense than those offerings!) Clash of Clans boasts millions of players worldwide, which certainly won’t hurt matters. The company is excited for fans to see what they’ve been cooking.
John Derderian, Vice President, Animation Series, Netflix praised the impact of this beloved game series. The executive said, “CLASH has been a global gaming phenomenon for over a decade – filled with humor, action, and unforgettable characters perfect for an animated series adaptation.
“Working with the incredible team at Supercell, Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we’re bringing all the fun, chaos and spirit of the world of CLASH to life in a whole new way,” he added. “We can’t wait for fans – old and new – to experience the mayhem.”
