KPop Demon Hunters has certainly been getting a lot of attention recently. It’s no wonder too. This animated film from showrunners and directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans will soon make its long-awaited debut on Netflix. Thus, it’s very easy to imagine just why Netflix would want to promote this as much as possible.

In fact, this is why we’re here. Netflix is proud to announce the impending streaming of KPop Demon Hunters with a brand new official trailer. Said trailer also reveals that this animated musical fantasy film will make its debut on June 20, 2025. As you might guess, you can watch it only on Netflix. As for the trailer itself, you can watch it either on YouTube or below:

Divas by day, and demon hunters by night.

One last thing though. Netfix also has a new key art for KPop Demon Hunters for the additional promo. You can check it out below:

KPop Demon Hunters Soon Debuting on June 20, 2025

KPop Demon Hunters NA key art
The coolness of this key art hides how silly the actual film is.

Honestly, this is rather exciting news. All because this is the first time we get to see any footage of KPop Demon Hunters. Everything else beforehand has been nothing but stills. Now though, we can clearly see that the animation style is very distinct. The slightly choppy way everyone moves makes the whole film look like a stop-motion animation film. As a fan of such films like Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit, this now makes me very interested in this. Not to mention the unexpected, silly tone of the film. Yes, there are dead serious dark fantasy elements to it, but there’s also some of the most hilarious facial expressions I’ve seen in a while. It will be interesting to see if they can balance the comedy and serious themes in this film when we can finally watch it.
