It’s pretty hard to find someone who has not at least heard of LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS. This adult animated anthology TV series, produced by Blur Studios and streaming on Netflix enjoys quite a bit of fame throughout the world. Not least of which is because said anthology features a wide range of genres from comedy to horror to sci-fi to fantasy (and everything in between) from different animation studios around the world. It’s really no wonder that critics have given the three seasons/volumes of the series increasingly positive reviews. The most recent third volume, which premiered on May 20, 202,2 has received the most acclaim thus far.

Since then though, there hasn’t been much word about the anthology…that is, until now. Netflix is proud to announce that they have renewed LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS for a Volume 4. In fact, they even reveal when we’re going to see it. According to them: LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS Volume 4 will make its streaming debut on May 15, 2025. As you can guess, you can watch that upcoming volume only on Netflix, just like with the previous volumes.

Is it just me, or does that robot look a bit…unsettling to you?

Honestly, my reaction to this news is: it’s about time. Nearly three years have passed between LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS Volume 3 and this upcoming Volume 4. It’s quite a long time to wait just for a new season of this anthology, especially if you’ve been a fan of them. Let’s hope that this volume is just as good as the previous. Fortunately, judging from the teaser trailer, it looks like it’s going to be good.
