Dragon Ball DAIMA began airing on October 11, 2024; and then finally concluded on February 28, 2025 at an impressive 20 episodes. And by all account, it has been a wild success story for the majorly successful franchise from Toei Animation. All you have to do is look at how critic after critic has been giving the anime positive reviews. Truly, Akira Toriyama‘s legacy lives on even long after his passing.
Alas, the English dub has been a bit slow to catch up to that simulcasting. Now to be fair though, the English dub of Dragon Ball DAIMA only began on January 10, 2025. That’s basically three months after the original Japanese audio version began its own debut. It’s no wonder that the English dub has been playing catch-up ever since.
Fortunately for all you English dub viewers, the wait will soon be over. Crunchyroll is proud to announce that the finale of Dragon Ball DAIMA will soon be getting that long-awaited English dub. How soon, you might ask? Well, English dubs of both Episodes 19 and 20 will drop on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:30 PM PT. You can watch that English dub only on Crunchyroll, and only if you live in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India. If you live outside of those territories, then you’re going to have to wait a bit for that English dub.
