Gachiakuta is already shaping up to be the next hit anime of 2025. With a combination of dark fantasy storyline, impressive animation from Bones Film (Wolf’s Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia), and a rather unique magic system involving the repurposing of junked items; it looks like a treat for all fans of anime. Clearly, mangaka/creator Kei Urana has created something rather special here. Now all that’s left to do is to wait for the anime itself.
Fortunately, we have some fairly good ideas of when that will be. All thanks to Crunchyroll dropping a brand new main trailer and more for Gachiakuta. That trailer, along with a behind the scenes video, reveals that the anime will make its global debut on July 6, 2025. You can watch both trailer and behind the scenes video on YouTube, or just look below:
That’s not all though. Crunchyroll is also announcing that this is part of a Gachiakuta World Takeover. This takeover will include a special early premiere that will take place in various events around the world. Here in the US, that takeover will happen during Anime Expo 2025. You can check out the full list of takeover events below:

Lastly, Crunchyroll also wants to reveal a pair of new voice actors for Gachiakuta. Please welcome:
- Regto (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa): The man who raised Rudo after he lost his parents. He gave Rudo a pair of gloves.
- Jabber (voiced by Yuuki Shin): One of the “Raiders,” a group of ground bandits. He fights using rings containing a powerful neurotoxin.
Gachiakuta All Set for World Premiere

To be honest, this is actually making me more excited for Gachiakuta. The setting and object-based magic are both quite interesting, and the fact that the story is by the rare female mangaka is only making me even more interested. Heck, they even have a little graffiti maker website for you to have fun with here. Honestly, I’m looking forward to July 6, and even sooner at Anime Expo 2025.
