LA Comic Con returns in September, and this year will definitely be a big one. The convention announced its first lineup of guests today with cast members from Doctor Who and Daredevil.
Whoniverse stars headed to LA Comic Con include David Tennant (the Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors), Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), and Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones).
From Marvel’s Daredevil and Daredevil: Born Again, Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk/Kingpin), Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher), and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) will appear.

Charlie Cox
Charlie Cox is best known for his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in television and film projects from Marvel Studios. Cox has played the character across multiple projects for the last decade, starting with Netflix’s The Defenders and Daredevil series, and most recently on Disney+ in Daredevil: Born Again. Cox also appears in the feature Stardust and the show Boardwalk Empire, for which he earned a SAG Award.
Jon Bernthal
Jon Bernthal is known to Marvel fans as Frank Castle/The Punisher, a role he played in Daredevil and his character’s self-titled series. His film credits include The Accountant, King Richard, Ford v Ferrari, and The Wolf of Wall Street. Bernthal also won an Emmy last year for his guest role on The Bear.

Vincent D’Onofrio
Emmy-nominated actor Vincent D’onofrio plays the villain Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the Marvel universe, appearing in TV projects including Daredevil and Daredevil: Born Again, Hawkeye, and Echo. He is also known for his lengthy run on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and his role in the film Men in Black. D’Onofrio currently stars in Godfather of Harlem.
Elden Henson
Elden Henson is known for playing Foggy Nelson in the Marvel Universe, in shows like Daredevil, The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Daredevil: Born Again. He also starred in The Mighty Ducks films and appeared in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2.

Freema Agyeman
Freema Agyeman played companion Martha Jones in Doctor Who, the spinoff series Torchwood, and in the podcast series The Year of Martha Jones. She also starred in Netflix’s sci-fi series Sense 8, Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries, Law & Order: UK, New Amsterdam, and The Matrix: Resurrections.
Billie Piper
Billie Piper played the first-ever companion in the revived Doctor Who series, Rose Tyler. The five-time BAFTA nominee’s other TV credits include Penny Dreadful, I Hate Suzie, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and Kaos. Piper will next appear in the second season of Netflix’s Addams family series Wednesday.

David Tennant
BAFTA winner, star of stage and screen, and Time Lord himself David Tennant will appear at LA Comic Con. Tennant played the Tenth Doctor on Doctor Who between 2005 and 2008; he recently returned to the show for a series of specials as the Fourteenth Doctor. Tennant played Marvel villain Kilgrave in Jessica Jones, as well as the demon Crowley in Good Omens. His voice work includes Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales, multiple Star Wars animated shows as Huyang, and the How to Train Your Dragon films. Other projects include Harry Potter, Staged, and Broadchurch.
