Between Lilo & Stitch hitting theaters and Disneyland celebrating its 70th anniversary, It’s looking like a big summer for Disney fans. But there’s even more in store for members of D23, the official Disney fan club. 

D23 will host a number of events this summer, including special screenings, theme days, merch drops, and more. Get a look at all the major D23 experiences set for summer 2025 below.

Destination D23 Weekend

Exclusively for D23 Gold Members, this year’s Destination D23 event will mark the biggest of its kind yet! Attendees will celebrate beloved moments and memories with behind-the-scenes stories, special guests, and performances.

Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney – Presented by Lug, will now feature separately ticketed events that fans can participate in. These include:

D23 On The Road: A Goofy Movie Throwback Premiere

On Thursday, August 28, get ready to relive the road trip of a lifetime with a screening of the cult classic A Goofy Movie (1995) at the AMC Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida – the very same theater the film premiered at 30 years ago. The final stop of the D23 On The Road summer series, this event will feature a red carpet walk-through experience before the show as well as a few surprise guests. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 9 at 10 am PT.

Kuzcotopia Night at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

On Saturday, August 30, D23 Gold Members wanting to take part in this Destination D23 after-hours event have the opportunity to join the celebration of 25 years of The Emperor’s New Groove (2000), full of photo opportunities, special entertainment, and themed activities. Tickets for this separately ticketed event go on sale on Tuesday, May 13 at 10 am PT. (This experience is included with Destination D23 2025 tickets. Guests not attending may purchase this separate ticket.)

Shopping Spree

D23 Gold Members will have the chance to participate in the special shopping experiences available at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort during Destination D23 on Saturday, August 30, or Sunday, August 31. The D23 Shopping Spree gives fans access to exclusive merchandise at Mickey’s of Glendale, Ink and Paint Marketplace, The Walt Disney Company Store, and The Disney Studio Store Hollywood. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. PT. (This experience is included with Destination D23 2025 tickets. Guests not attending may purchase this separate ticket.)

“Magic After Dark: The Story of Disney’s Nighttime Spectaculars” – Thursday, May 29

D23 Gold Members are invited to a virtual show in the D23 Gold Theater. It will look back at the fan-favorite “Magic After Dark” panel from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event and explore new shows bringing the night to life this summer at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

D23 Spotlight Series: The Walt Disney Archives – Sunday, June 1 (Glendale, CA) and Sunday, June 22 (Orlando, FL)

The D23 Spotlight Series returns to both coasts this summer with the Walt Disney Archives’ 55th Anniversary Celebration. Dive into the history of the Walt Disney Archives and discover how the group collaborates with teams across the company to safeguard and share thousands of treasures in their historical collections. More information about the Spotlight Series will release soon.

Cinderella 75th Anniversary Screening – Saturday, June 7

Celebrate Walt Disney’s classic Cinderella (1950) with an enchanting 75th anniversary screening on the Walt Disney Studios Lot. Hear from experts at the Walt Disney Studios Restoration and Film Archive on how they’ve preserved and restored this enchanting story. Following the film, guests are invited to shop at The Walt Disney Company Store and the Disney Studio Store. In addition to general admission, a limited number of VIP tickets will be available to D23 Gold Members, offering priority seating for the screening and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Film Archives. Ticket information will be shared at a later date. 

Duffy and Friends 20 Year Celebration – Thursday, June 26

D23 Gold Members can celebrate 20 years of friendship in the D23 Gold Theater with Duffy and Friends. The event will broadcast the recent presentation that took place at the historic Grand Central Air Terminal in Glendale, CA. Born from an original story at Walt Disney Imagineering, Duffy and Friends have brought years of happiness and warm-hearted storytelling to Disney Parks around the world for fans to enjoy.  

D23 On The Road: A Goofy Movie 30th Anniversary – Various dates

A brand-new multicity touring series bringing this iconic film, along with a uniquely D23 experience, to more than 20 cities this summer. Tickets are still available for select cities.

D23 Day at Angel Stadium – Sunday, May 25

D23 Day at Angel Stadium will see the Los Angeles Angels take on the Miami Marlins. Guests purchasing a ticket to the game through the exclusive D23 ticket link will receive a commemorative Stitch-themed pin and water bottle, as well as gain access to D23-exclusive areas featuring special trivia, photo spots, and music. D23 Members can also enter a D23 Day at Angel Stadium Sweepstakes for the chance to win four tickets to the game, as well as four $20 Fandango promo codes, each good towards a movie ticket to see Disney’s Lilo & Stitch in theaters; four Stitch beach towels; four Stitch beach bags; and four Stitch notebooks. Fans can enter once daily from now through May 15.

twenty-three Magazine Release – May 20

On May 20, D23 is releasing the summer issue of Disney twenty-three magazine with three collectible front covers showcasing three decades of storytelling from Pixar Animation Studios. This season’s issue – available digitally for all D23 Gold Members – gives fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek at upcoming blockbusters including Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch (May 23) and Pixar’s Elio (June 20). Also featured in the summer issue are retrospectives and interviews celebrating the anniversaries of Disneyland Park (70th), The Muppets (70th), and Toy Story (30th).
