The global hit series Maxton Hall: The World Between Us is set to return to Prime Video for its highly anticipated second season on November 7. The announcement comes with more exciting news: the fan-favorite romantic drama has already been renewed for a third season, solidifying its place as one of Prime Video’s standout international originals.
A brand-new teaser trailer is now available, offering a first glimpse at the emotional intensity and dramatic twists that await. Based on the bestselling novel Save You by Mona Kasten, Season 2 will continue the story of Ruby and James as they navigate love, heartbreak, and privilege at the elite Maxton Hall.

After a passionate night in Oxford and with her dreams finally within reach, Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) believes everything is falling into place. But her world is quickly turned upside down when a devastating turn of events shakes James’ (Damian Hardung) family—and James himself becomes the one to bring her crashing back to reality. Heartbroken and angry, Ruby longs for the days before she was pulled into Maxton Hall’s elite social circle. Still, she can’t seem to forget James—especially as he tries desperately to win her back.
The returning cast includes Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, and Eli Riccardi as Elaine.
Martin Schreier returns to direct Season 2, with Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim producing. Yildirim also serves as head writer alongside Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior. Valentin Debler continues as producer for UFA Fiction, with support from the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).
