Netflix is bringing a fresh twist to the romantic comedy genre with The Wrong Paris, premiering globally on September 12. Directed by Janeen Damian and written by Nicole Henrich, this charming and unexpected love story promises laughs, heart, and plenty of romantic mix-ups.
The film stars Miranda Cosgrove as a young woman who signs up for a reality dating show, dreaming of strolls by the Eiffel Tower and picture-perfect dates in Paris, France. However, upon arrival, she’s shocked to discover the show isn’t filming in Europe. Instead, it’s being shot in Paris, Texas. Outraged and determined not to spend her summer in the wrong Paris, she hatches a plan to get eliminated early. But her mission hits a snag when she starts developing real feelings for the show’s bachelor, played by Pierson Fodé.
