A Working Man from Amazon MGM Studios was a breath of fresh air in the cinemas earlier this year. It starred Jason Statham and gave us another excellent action movie from him and David Ayer. Here’s a synopsis for those that missed the film in theaters.

Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction. But when his boss’s daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.

A Working Man will be available for purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on June 10th, 2025.

A Working Man stars Jason Statham (“The Beekeeper,” “Furious 7”, “The Fate of the Furious,” The “Transporter” films), Jason Flemyng (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”), Merab Ninidze (“Conclave”), Maximillian Osinski (TV’s “Ted Lasso”), Cokey Falkow (Jurassic World: Dominion”), with Michael Peña (“End of Watch”) and David Harbour (TV’s “Stranger Things”).

Here’s what we had to say about A Working Man in our 94% review of the film.

A Working Man proves that movies can still be an experience that takes you out of the hell of daily life, even for just under two hours. The magic of Jason Statham laying waste to human traffickers, wifebeaters, drug dealers, and whoever gets in his way is a cathartic experience. You might not get the same almost out-of-body experience I had while watching the trailer and eventually the full movie for A Working Man, but even if you don’t, it’s a fantastic one-man wrecking crew action movie that feels like Staham is entering his Charles Bronson era of his career.

You know exactly what you’re walking into the theater for with A Working Man and the movie delivers that and then some with earnest asskicking from its star.
